Hi pie,
Lovely photos pie, you lucky so-and-so! all those lovely birds in your garden! Grrrr!! LOL. Mind you, I did see a Blackcap male very briefly t'other day, but gone before I could 'snap' him!! never been back since, an' I put an apple out for him an' all!! ungrateful's what I call it!!
Talking of how birds can tell the difference between cat & dog...even stranger is how do they know that when my old, fat cat goes out in the garden, they carry on feeding on the ground not three feet away from him as if they know he can't get 'em!! and yet when a neighbours fit young cat appears.....zoom....birds gone!! (thank goodness they do recognise the difference!!).
Agree with your observation about the washing not bothering the birds, it's very strange! but maybe not as strange as some people who want to see a photo of you in your jim-jams :eek!: ..... LOL!
