Headed to St. Lucia soon and will have a couple of days to bird.

I just picked up the swarovski 95mm & 65mm objective as well as the ATX eyepiece.

So my dilemma is do i take the compact and lightweight 65mm or the awesome 95mm?

I won't be taking any big camera lenses, just a 7d2 and 100-400.

Your thoughts and comments are appreciated.

That's why I have bought the ATX85, nothing to choose from;)
I'm pretty sure I would have the same dilemma when I would have bought both the 95 and 65.
Personally I would take the 65, because travelling is probably the reason you have bought the 65 in the first place. (I could be wrong here, ofcourse:))
When you don't, I think the 65 isn't gonna see much daylight anymore in the future o:D
The big advantage of the 65 besides being much smaller, is the wide FOV on 25x. I'm pretty sure the 65 will do just fine.

Have a good trip!

Best regards,

Gijs

If you do a lot of walking up hill, the 65mm is good enough. But if flat terrain, I will bring the 95mm. I have the same setup like yours too hehehe
