November 22-24th, 2012: Gallocanta lacoon, Spain (1 Viewer)

November is an ideal month to see cranes in the Gallocanta lacoon, between Zaragoza and Teruel provinces, in Spain. A good oportunity to see them and to be far from the big city. Thus, I took two free days to enjoy with this impressive birds.

Thanks Allen,

In fact, it was incredible the number of cranes there (last census indicated abouth 15000 individuals). I stayed there some years ago and there were much less cranes. And this is nothing to do compared with other dates. I have heard that in february gather there around 100000 cranes. Incredible!!!
