Thanks to Andrew Rowlands, you can find your lost threads and posts!

"The attachments below were gleaned from the Google 'cached' snapshots (we don't yet know if the 'lost data' will be recoverable in a usable format). MSN Search (maybe others too) also has a useful cache of Birdforum posts.

Try to find more, if you like; post them here - or, if they belong to a different Forum, under the relevant heading.

The search string was "Digiscoping, Art & Equipment > Binoculars birdforum" (without the quotes) modified in Advanced Search by choosing only pages from the last three months. This, of course could be modified by choosing suitable phrases, Thread titles, etc.. The trick then is to click the [More results from birdforum.net] link under the second Birdforum result.

Check the links on the top of the cached pages to see if they are currently missing from our Server before Posting them as attachments. You'll need to Copy/Paste into Notepad then Save As "title of Thread.txt".

The top lines on some of the attachments are the URL's to the Google cache pages. These search engine caches WILL be overwritten SOON - some may have gone already - 186 Members online?!?! - chose your favourite Forum or Topic and search .....

I have already found and saved many of my threads and posts! Many are from Garden Birds, Bird Feeding and Nestboxes. You can save yours too!
