Hello,
My name is Karl Mercer, I load up my shots to the bird forum under the tag k4capture.
I was advised that Kinmel Bay was a sure-fire location for Short Eared Owl's.
On my last visit (Easter Monday) I sat all day and to my horror, the only thing I saw, was a group of youths with air rifles.
Can any of you good folks advise me of any recent sightings?
This weekend's weather looks pretty awful in Cheshire, but the north East coast of Wales looks a bit more promising.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Karl

Theres some good places on the Dee Estuary for SEOs though I've seen one at Frodsham too. The last I had were on the marsh just North of Neston/Parkgate way about a month back, nice Marsh Harrier there too.

There was 1 at Parkgate on Monday (I wouldn't have seen it if it hadn't been pointed out to me).

Can't agree with your weather forecast-all the north of Wales has heavy showers for the next 5 days (according to BBC 5 day). Hope it's wrong as I will be in Anglesey-
can't think of what to do if it's bad-OH! just had an ideaB :)
