Hey all,

Took these up in the Picos in June.
Common Wall? Iberian Wall? Hard to find anything concrete on the web....pics all seem to contradict one another.....

The new guide, Speybroek et al, gives Sub-specific range of Common Wall P. m brogniardii 'restricted' range is Spain and is the only race mentioned for Spain,a very small area on the given map.

Iberian Wall lizard 'complex' is given as 8 species!

The area you give is in the range of Bocage's if the map is accurate, looks like a mare to sort out!

for me, all are muralis.
from the "hispanicus"-complex only liolepis and guadarramae would occur in the area, but look a bit different

mhh?
page 265 with map out of Speybroeck. Complete northern Iberian peninsula!

Mario

And here's the range of Iberian and Common from the same book. The small area in white at the top is muralis?
