Growing up in the seventies it was a big deal if we saw a Bald Eagle. Now there are a few places here where one can consistenly see multiple eagles perched in a tree. Yesterday I saw three soaring while a Crow mobbed them.

A true conservation success story.

We get lots migrating to Bosque Del Apache in the winter. Most times you can typically see a dozen. One year was exceptional and I counted 64 around me.
