Caspian Plover? (1 Viewer)

Can somebody confirm this bird for me. I am fairly certain that its a Caspian Plover (Charadrius asiaticus). If it is, its a wee bit lost for the time of year and place.
It was taken at Qatbit oasis, Oman last month. Picture quality is not that great but it was taken at the limit of my lens.

Right to some extent Charles, Oman book says 'Rare passage migrant from mid-july to late-november, and an even rarer winter visitor and spring migrant, principally to north Oman. Qatbit oasis is right in the middle of the desert, basically 800 kms of not a lot in mid 40's temperatures.
