.... rather too foggy to see much. Some good views of a Little Grebe in winter garb and a couple of Snipe. A wader (Redshank?) flew in sat on the water for a few seconds before flying off again.

There was a noisy bunch of Tree Sparrows on the feeders near the visitor centre. Not exactly a rare sight at Blacktoft, but they're not so common elsewhere these days I guess.

Anyway, thought I'd post shot of this cheery band...
