I went on a birding trip on 09 Feb 013 to Suryavinayak in the southeast of Kathmandu valley. The 218 sq miles area of Kathmandu alone records 500 species of birds. We observed over 51 different birds including Grey headed Woodpecker, Fulvous breasted woodpecker, Great barbet etc.
