Hi,

First thought this was young greenfinch, but the beak is yellow and the chest is completely unstriped. So my feeble mind has reached maxload.

Who knows the answer?

what about housesparrow? looks fine for that, look at the faint supercilium for example

My first reaction was also House Sparrow.
