Field monitors (1 Viewer)

Has anyone used a field monitor attached to their digiscoping camera?

One of my friends has difficulty looking through a spotting scope eyepiece and I sometimes attach my dslr so that she can look at the lcd screen. So in addition to being able to take photos, I am using my digiscoping setup to help my friend see what is visible through the scope.

There is currently a great deal on an Ikan field monitor. At the time of my posting there are only 22 hours to go on the sale price.

I am looking for some guidance as to whether or not this type of monitor will be an even better solution for letting my friend see what is visible through the scope.

Thanks.
