I have here some scaup, and I assumed lesser, can someone verify lesser or greater for me? Also, my lifer Long-tailed duck - I thought female until I looked at the white on the back. Is it a male or female?

Long-tailed Duck looks like a first-winter male.

I make the Scaup to be Greaters, except perhaps for the top left bird in the last pic which looks to have a hint of a crest, rather than a smoothly rounded crown.
