Saw this pair this morning on a local Gravel Pit,( Twyford, Berkshire, England ). They are reasonably tame, not banded, the photo's were taken from about 10 feet away. Same size as Egyptian Goose, They have a white panel on the wing, out of view when wings folded. Collins does not have them athough Ruddy Shellduck is similar, but leg colour is wrong. The birds looked browner than in these pictures!.
Any ideas anyone?

Many thanks to everyone, it amazes me what expertise members of these forums have!.
If they are not in the gallery, should I add them just as reference material?.
