I've just downloaded the new Microsoft RAW image thumbnail viewer, it allows you to see the thumbnail image when looking through your folders instead of just displaying an icon.
It is a large file (46MB).
It seems to work okay, all my D70 NEF images could be viewed along with the jpeg's in one folder.

I hope I've got the link correct.

There's also a free RAW viewer/converter/editor called Raw Shooter from Pixmantec which is supposed to be decent.

Hi Leif,
I also use that program for processing my RAW images, it's pretty good from what I've done up to now.
When I've downloaded my card into Windows and view each image as a thumbnail, only the jpeg's are visible. The RAW images are represented by an icon. Now with this viewer I can see all the thumbnails in the folder.
