70-200/4 failure (1 Viewer)

My 70-200/4 (non-IS) packed up this week giving err01 on the 20D and err99 on the 1D2N...I cleaned the contacts but it didn't fix anything.

I think this is a common problem, has anyone got a link handy to any solutions (I can't be a***d to plough through the POTN, FM and DPReview forums right now)?

I am guessing it will mean a holiday for the lens with the nice people at Canon...
