I visited Abu Dhabi after Seychelles for 3 days.
Seychelles is really nice place where tousends and in some areas even tentousends of Lessy Noddys pass every day. Also Wedge tailed Shearwater passed in huge number. I counted at La Digue near Anse Severe 110 Wedge tailed Shearwaters in 48 seconds.
The information in the link was an good orientation.
But in some areas the people do not want have birdwatchers with scope, bino and in every case also not cameras.
Not all time is visible a reason, why it is forbidden.
Also happened, one day I took pictures and security saw it without any problem.
Next day another security person had a problem with cameras.
I asked also at golf places, but the refused access.
My accomodation was Eclypse Boutique Hotel.
Just 5 minutes walk to lake park.
More birds I saw at Mangrove Forest Nationalpark.
It is easy to find 10 and more waders in 1 - 2 hours, included Red wattled Lapwing and Terek.
Also raptors like Pallid Harrier and Osprey I found there as well as gulls, Caspian Terns and herons.
At Al Ain the new dam area was quite good.
My accomodation was Mecure Grand Jebel Hafeet.
It is located very high in the mountains with panoramic view.
200 m away to east side is good place for Craws and Egyption vulture.
Also wheatears and Sandgrouse are there.
I the opposite of hotel parking was Indian Roller in the morning.
Wadi Tarabat was less productive in this time, but some wheatear.
Quite good was the zoo.
In the flamingo area came may Ibis. The zoo staff want to push them away, but after one short flight, they came back.
Also wild Sandgrouse was there where close.
2 x Flamingo, waders and herons I found at lake Zhaker at E30.
E30 is a nice alternativ route from Abu Dhabi to Al Ain.
Many nice dunes are near at the street.
In every case, in places where are even small sweetwater lake, there is a varity of birds like sparrows, waders, herons. At coast also Gulls and Terns, mostly Caspian terns.
