After much advice on here and some research of my own I have decided on this as my first ever scope.

Good choice?

I am looking to buy a used one and I have seen a couple on Ebay recently, how much should I expect to pay for a one in good condition with an eyepiece? I was thinking somewhere in the region of £380.

Warehouse Express have them new for £412 without an eyepiece, a new eyepiece would cost and extra £155.

I have one and I would recommend the scope (with the caveat that I have nothing to compare it against).

I bought the padded case too but I eventually thought this was too fussy for day-to-day operation, now I just have an adapted Optech rain sleeve that is taped around the middle of the scope and can be pulled up and fastened over the eye piece if I'm caught out in rain.
