Common Redstart in Essex today (1 Viewer)

Far more likely to be a wintering Black Redstart - still would be interested to see the pics thou! Link it if you can.
 
Here's the other shot. Pretty sure it's just a standard European Stonechat but would be good to hear opinions.

Looks Stonechat-ish to me. The first photo I saw I did think Stonechat immediately. I think a Common Redstart did winter in wormword scrubs - David Lindo mentioned it in his talk if I remember correctly.
