Yellow dragonfly ID help please (1 Viewer)

Spotted this yellow dragonfly in North Yorkshire on 08 June 2014.
Looks like it could be immature, judging by the shape of a couple of its wing tips. Not in any of my books.
Any idea what it is would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hi John,

I'm not much of an expert, but looks to me like a teneral Black-tailed Skimmer.... so teneral in fact that the wings don't even look to be fully pumped!!

It's a great photo, so shouldn't be a problem to id it if I should happen to be wrong...

All the best.... Ray
