Hello all!
I'm a transplant from the South (Alabama) working on my Doc in South Dakota while I take a break from teaching. I'm still in the 'looking around' stages of developing my project, but I'm leaning pretty heavily towards ... you guessed it ... an Ornith project and leaning towards some work with the American Dippers. That being said, I'd love to hear from members out further West that are familiar with them as I've only observed them in South Dakota thus far.

Hi jx and a warm welcome to you from those of us on staff here at BirdForum :t:

We're glad you found us and thanks for taking a moment to say hello.

You might try posting a query about the American Dippers in our "Information Wanted" section here. Good luck.

Hi jx,

Another welcome to the BirdForum. We are glad to have you aboard.

Dippers sounds like a very interesting subject to research for your Doc.

Good Luck!
