Help with naming Pug? (1 Viewer)

Although it is not common it has the look of a Marsh Pug as well as the extremely variable Common Pug. Flight time is May-June but check on UK Moths and accept the wisdom of the more experineced birdforum pugers!

Egrets, I've had a few
 
E. vulgata is easily separated from E. pygmaeata by the strongly angled postmedian fascia, which this specimen has.
