Urgent-Best lens for Gambia (1 Viewer)

I am off to Gambia in 2 days time and would welcome your opinion as to what lens(es) I should take, primarily for birding....weight might be an issue.

I have a 50D and will be taking a 100-400mm lens.
As a backup I will take a 350D, but have a choice of the following lenses
Sigma 17-70mm (not OS)
Sigma 10-20mm
Tamron 18-270mm

All comments appreciated.
Thanks
John

Hi John
I would think the lighter Sigma 17-70mm would be the best as it has a nice zoom range so you would have a total of 17 to 400 with just 30mm missing.

Rob.
