Hello all,
We have a webcam nestbox and were overjoyed to have a blue tit nesting in there. The eggs hatched last week (10!) but sadly we found all the babies dead yesterday. We're not sure why but I'm aware it's not uncommon. My 6yo daughter was devastated, although we've talked to her about how this happens in nature. She's very keen to give the babies a little burial but I wasn't sure if we would be causing problems if we cleared out the nestbox or not. Can anyone advise? I'm happy to leave them there if that's the best thing.
Thanks in advance!
