IS it an Asian Brown Flycatcher ??? (1 Viewer)

Tim,
I don't have a good grip on it. Looks like some kind of Prinia in transitional plumage to me, but hard put to pin down a species.

I'am not familiar with birds from India, but it definitly doesn't look like a Flycatcher from Europe. If I saw a bird like this in Europe I would say Prinia as Steve already suggested.

Nice picture, Manas

Thanks Tim Allwood, cuckooroller, Eckart and Hannu for your reply.

Thanks Eckart for appreciating my photograph. Now I feel it is a Plain prinia... as suggested by many of you.

Here I am attaching a better photograph of the same bird, if that helps in indentifying....

Thanks and regards,
Manas.
