White-tailed or Hainan Blue Flycatcher? (1 Viewer)

It's a White-tailed Flycatcher. Nothing else on Borneo is similar, as Andy says.

Of interest - the Bornean birds don't actually have white in the tail.

Oh right. I hadn't known that, but I've just checked some images on HBW and they bear this out. So the apparent white tail-sides on this bird must just be backlighting. In any case, it's not the outer tail feathers that are white on this species.
