True Mittens (1 Viewer)

Hi All,
can anyone recommend a good pair of true mittens please. I am looking for the type that are not fold down with fingerless gloves built in, just mittens where your fingers touch inside all the way down.

I sliced a finger quite deeply years ago and I get a touch white finger (Raynaud's) now, so I need the warmth of the other fingers while out in the cold.

Thanks.

Traditional ? Only one contender, Dachstein (e.g. http://www.joe-brown.com/2030/products/dachstein-mitts.aspx), and wear with silk glove liners (Patra) if additional cold protection is required for the odd moments when you need to slip them off.

There are many branded sports mix synthetics on the market, others may have recommendations.

Best wishes,

Well, if they are good enough for Clint!

Thanks for the info. It gives the width of the mittens for different sizes, do you know which part of the mitt is measured? Do they measure across the part including the thumb or just the finger bit?

I hope that you'll post your field report in due course, Simon.

Users of synthetics should let us know if they ever see a cold sheep!!

Enjoy the winter.

Best wishes,
