Kodak Easyshare 4 Software - need advice (1 Viewer)

I hope it's ok to post this question here. I've got a Kodak digital camera, DX6490 and I've been using their Easyshare software for loading & viewing my pictures. They've recently come out with an updated version to the software, version 4.0.

I was wondering if anyone has downloaded and used the 4.0 software yet, so I can ask some questions regarding it? If not, does anyone know of any other camera links for messageboards where I can ask questions? I tried finding answers to my questions on the Kodak website, but it didn't help.

I'd like to find out if they've come up some solution as how to easily delete pictures (by somehow marking the pics, kinda like you do your fav's and then deleting the pics in mass). Also, on the download site, it has a link for users for the upgrade, however the only option is for users for 3.3x and above. I've been using version 3.2x - so I wonder if this will be an issue. Also wondered if anyone knew of any problems when upgrading. I've got 10,000+ pics and I'd hate to have any problems or lose any of them.

Thanks in advance - hopefully somebody out there can help me. :t:

oops - nevermind. I answered my own questions. *blushes* Kodak finally gave us a delete function...yipee!!!! :D And I misread the instructions for what version you needed before downloading (oops!). And I had no problems downloading. Yay!
