We had good views on most species; but the one hardest to see ( apart from the LEO which we did not see) was the Laurel Pigeon. Only had a short look at one in flight and heared one calling (earlier than usual)...Bolles pigeon males were already displaying and calling in the evening in the laurel forests.

more details later;

Hi Andrew;
One 1-day trip to Gomera; but that did not give any spectacular birds, allthough the scenery was fascinating. Il will try to give a more detailed report one of the next days; and I can recommend the book"Where to watch birds in Tenerife?" by Eduardo Garcia del Rey; allthough a few informations in there are not valid any more.
