Hello Bird World!

Longtime wildlife nut here, currently living in India but with roots in East Africa and many years in the USA. I'm working for an international conservation NGO and have some years of experience with mammals and herps but am only just learning to appreciate Aves :t:

I'm also an aspiring writer and am working on a novel that features a lot of bird-themed plot points and subplots. I have questions about migrations that hours of googling have failed to resolve. After all that search engine failure, it occurred to me to try my luck with the good people of a birding forum... hola!
