Rainguards.... (1 Viewer)

For my Zeiss FL 8x42, I got an extra rain guard and with a razor cut off the fingers (on one side) and the loop (on the other) that capture the neckstrap. When I'm out in rainy conditions, I keep it on until it's time to view and then I pocket it. It's worked fine for years now (I only lost one, but found it soon after it was replaced). That said, has anyone had any experience with these?

I got one of these to use on my 8x42 mcKinley.
I wanted the abilty to handle the raingard with only one hand, much more easy.
I had to modify the connection to the neck strap so it fits better when on the eyecups. I like it a lot. Since it is handmade i tested it in the shop to get one that fits perfectly.
