EagleEye OpticZoom 5x Lens (1 Viewer)

I already own the OpticZoom 5x lens which I use with my Coolpix 4500 with some success. Has anyone had any experience using this lens with a camcorder? I am considering purchasing a new camcorder , preferably mini DV, and would be interested to know of any members' comments on this combination. Thankyou.

EagleEye OpticZoom

Hi Sandpiper,
I've just acquired an EagleEye which will connect to my Sony TRV25 as well as my Nikon 990.
I'm planning to take it with me on my next birding trip but of course at this time of year light is going to be an issue and my brief trial today through the bedroom window suggested that the video camera was struggling to focus at the upper end of the zoom range.
