Nikon Action Extreme Binos (1 Viewer)

I will be looking for a pair of strong binos for landscape observation purposes, i.e. for viewing distant towns and villages from up on high. Can anyone tell me about Nikon's 16x50 Action Extreme ones as these interest me. Or perhaps you could recommend others around this strength?

Well, you are going in the right direction, other brands can be worse. I have only looked at the 12x and they were still OK. If you can get to see some even bigger ones, they might have more light.

Take a look at these I think they would be ideal for your purpose:

at 15 or 16x you would benefit from the extra objective size.
