Grey passerine in northern Thailand (1 Viewer)

Yesterday I briefly saw this passerine on a TV antenna in Mae Sai, the northern-most town in Thailand, next to the Burmese border. These are my only two photos, so I have no view of the wings, tail, etc. Its size was the same as, or very slightly larger than, some nearby Eurasian Tree Sparrows. I was struck by the yellowish colour near the eyes and a hint of yellow on the chin.
Thank you for looking.

Feeling rather dumb

Wow, I feel pretty stupid. I discounted that possibility because the range maps do not show them in this part of Thailand. Next time, I'll try to remember that birds have wings and they don't read the range maps in the field guides.
Thank you for your help.
