Darren, whats the score? Just read about Woodchat Shrike at Chipping Sodbury common. Any chance of directions if you read this?

Cheers, and nice one,

Larry

i saw the bird about 6.30/7.00pm after which it went low in a hedge and not sure if it was seen again. But it went missing ealier a few times.
Darren was going to check again first thing am sunday.
From Darren: From Chipping Sodbury, cross the common, staying on the main common rd until you reach the farm buildings on your right.
Park here and walk left past 2 circular cattle troughs. Follow the hedge line on the right hand side until it opens up into a field. The bird was in the bottom right hand side of the field.

Thank Naturenutz. Showing well today, and a fair few people present too. Bit grotty mind, Can't you find a more shiny one next time Darren? ;)

Woodchat shrike persists

Went to the common this pm (thanks for the excellent directions!). Shrike showed briefly twice although chatted to someone who had been there several hours and it had shown over that time. Managed to get some pics and it's a first for me!
