Did I miss something? Is Ricoh-Pentax almost completely out of the sport optics business? I guess the 17 new Pentax binocular models died a quick death... but the scopes!?

They show a lot more binoculars on this web site. It is dated 2015.

Most of these are still listed by Camera Land in NY as special order items.

I got a new 9x28 from them a few months ago. You can find it in the A series along with the 9x32 which is a Sightron Blue Sky clone.

Hello Mike. I believe that the above website is only for direct sales from Ricoh. You're correct, the offerings on the sales site are very limited. On the other hand, if you're just looking for general information and specs on their full lines of sports optics, that information is available here.... http://m.us.ricoh-imaging.com/sport-optics

Putting the information together from the several websites noted above, it still appears that Pentax sport optics won't be around too much longer.

Who knows?

Ricoh has changed the websites so often it is hard to tell anything.

I may be wrong, but AFAIK they only make one 28mm digital camera under their own name and the rest are Pentax and if they promote them like they do the Pentax binoculars they won't be around long either.
