Have you some papers or www link about solar energy power plant station and their influenc on bird comunity?

And how is your idea about this problematics?

How could solar energy possibly have an impact on birds other than the loss of habitat for the plant?

Mabye i hear about one other impact on water bird species The plane of collar collector (for the birds and insect) look as water area and when the bird(mainly duck)set down so crashed the collector and daied.


But i don´t now when is this possible

One study showed low rates of mortality in the US: http://elibrary.unm.edu/sora/JFO/v057n02/p0135-p0141.pdf

But the mortality of e.g. hirundines at very large arrays of these installations in the Sahara (as proposed) would presumably be larger. The major problem seems to be the mirrors.
