A trip to the mailbox! (1 Viewer)

I always grab my camera to go to the mailbox. It's about a 75 yard walk. Usually I get no opportunities to take pictures. These pictures were taken on consecutive days last week. A Merlin(lifer) and a pair of Red-bellied wood peckers.

Very nice shots, and great news to have been in the right place and the right time. What beauties :-O

Gorgeous shots and a great lesson for all of us to ALWAYS take our cameras with us, even when we don't think we'll see anything! My mail box is a rather long walk for me too. Thanks for sharing, Kevin.
