Wheatears, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia (1 Viewer)

We can get 11 different types of wheatear here at this time of year. I've seen 9 and am getting a lot of practice!

However I am not so good with female wheatears.

Here are two from this week. Both were taken in fairly dry areas (not in fields).

I think Wheatear A is possibly a female pied but wheatear B has got me stumped.

Any help gratefully appreciated

Hi Rob,
the bird A is indeed a Pied Weathear, and the bird B looks good for this specie too. Don't you have pictures showing the tail?

PS: Neil was faster :)

Thanks for both replies. Sorry I don't have any pictures of the tail on B. I'm happy to conclude they are both pied. I'm getting a lot of exposure to this particular wheatear at the moment.
