Barred ButtonQuail Dusting Itself In Sand - Video (1 Viewer)

pummkin

Fledgling
Malaysia
Taken in my backyard in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia where poachers also go. I found this cutie dusting in mounds of sand & as I was in the vehicle, I grabbed my friend's handy Nikon Coolpix P510 with 42X optical zoom (yes, you read right! 42X!) fresh off the box & captured it. After observing & following it (reversing & tracking & changing lanes) for about 10 minutes, I got some cool shots & this video!

I have tried uploading pictures via Tapatalk onto this forum but they got stuck! Let me retry on the next post. Please tell me if you can see the video as I've used a URL shortener. Thanks!

Success! Looks like I have to use Tapatalk's hosting in order to upload pictures via my tablet. There, you have it, the very cute, shaking Barred Buttonquail or Turnix Suscitator female! :)
