Bird oasis in an urban area (1 Viewer)

I was taking a stroll through bush reserve in Sydney, in the suburb of Bonnet Bay and I was surprised to witness many of the smaller bird species which are otherwise eliminated from heavily urbanized areas. These included Superb Fairy Wrens (Maclura cyaneus), Willie Wag Tail (Rhipidura leucophrys), Silver Eye (Zosterops lateralis) and even Eastern Yellow Robins (Eosaltria australis). I have heard that there may be a Powerful Owl (Ninox strenua) nest in this particular reserve as well.

Its good to see that small reserves in urban areas can still contain lots of the bird life seen in healthy bush land.
