which field guide for Sikkim, India (1 Viewer)

I'm planning to go trekking in the Sikkim Himalayas in the near future.

Will be trekking up to high altitude

Please could you recommend a good field guide?

The more location specific the better & ideally with good maps & altitudes of the species etc.

The first two are probably the most highly regarded books for the area whilst the last, will probably be what you want as it will be minus a lot of confusing species that don't occur further North.

The Birds of Bhutan probably covers everything you need as well. This is also an extract from the complete Inskipp guide.
