I photographed this bird on a beach on Sanibel Island in October, I have looked through a Birds of Florida book but can't find it.
I would have liked to spend more time and get a better shot, but about 10 foot in front of the bird, just next to the rocks it is standing on was a very pretty young lady in a bikini sunbathing. I thought great all I need is for her to look up and see me pointing a telephoto lens at her.
I'm no expert on Florida law but photographing near naked women (without there permission) is probably illegal. So I just managed to grab a quick pic before it turned and flew away (the bird not the woman).
