Nuttall's or Ladder-backed in Southern California (1 Viewer)

Saw this one at the Big Morongo Preserve in Morongo Valley California last week. I'm leaning towards Ladder-backed because of the striping on the upper back and the buffy coloring at the base of the bill (is this the "lores"?).

Thanks for any help.

Should have added this one in my original post. I'm thinking Ladder-backed on this one also.
