Darter, Northants (1 Viewer)

Hi, I found this darter while out today near Corby, Northants. I think it may be a Black Darter but this is not a species that I'm familiar with.

Looks like a dark Common Darter to me. Think I can see a yellow stripe on the leg which would immediately rule out Black Darter which has all black legs like Ruddy.
 
Thanks for that, it didn't quite look right for Black but I've never seen a Common that dark before. I've still got rather a lot to learn.
