No personal experience but, looking on this and other forums, it seems as if the Canon SX50 is still the way to go.

Thanks for replies I have decided against getting a DSLR as I do a lot of walking and don't want anything bulky .So it has got to be a bridge camera . Any ideas folks. Many thanks. H
