Just been shown this £10 special by a family member.
For kids to use.

Blue coated. Only exterior surfaces front and back. Otherwise everything uncoated.
Very clean inside.
Looks all glass optics, I think.
Well aligned, amazing.
Centrally good.
Edges poor.
Right dioptre works O.K.
7.2 degrees marked. Seems reasonable.

So how come 30*60.
I think it is an 8x21.
So 8x21 = 168.
2 barrels = 336.
Take the first 3 and add nothing i.e. zero = 30
Take the square root of 36 = 6. Add nothing i.e. zero = 60.
So one gets 30*60.
Simples.

P.S.
Just looked it up and this is where it gets very dubious.

I looked at it. It was crazy how many people were completely elated with it. It's also so surprising what folks expectations are for a $8.70 pair of binoculars.

Good job figuring out what the 30*60 meant!
