A new series dedicated to Sharks starts tonight on BBC1 at 8.55pm looks a great series.

Stunning photography. Limited amount of new facts but a great programme in the BBC natural history tradition, synthesising a whole group. Trailer for next week's looks good as well, flying Manta - woo hoo!

Spellbinding, mesmerizing, ethereal and quite possibly the best BBC wildlife documentary series i've ever seen....:cat:

If you haven't been watching it then you're really missing out...[even if you don't particularly like sharks]...!

As you might be able to tell....i like sharks....

I forgot it was on but caught the second half of it. Those Mantas were staggeringly beautiful and the photography was magnificent. I will watch it properly on catch up.

I was in the sea off Eilat many years ago and a whale shark passed close by me...but i didn't see it because i was facing the wrong way....:eek!:

Reckon if i'd have seen the large dorsal then i might have freaked thinking it was a great white....["aarrgggh]...etc :cat:
