Hello from Westminster, Co

Hello everyone!!

This is my first post here... not really sure what to say.

My husband and I have a modest sized backyard and, seeing some birds hanging around the neighborhood, we decided to buy a couple of birdfeeders. I now wake up every morning to around 2-3 dozen Common Grackles perusing the feeders and the lawn. They are usually accompanied by a dozen American Tree Sparrows and a Mourning Dove. Occasionally the pair of Blue Jays will pop by for some peanuts and of recently we have been visited by a pair of Eurasian Collared-Doves. We have seen two Red Winged Blackbirds and today I saw two new birds that I am working on identifying, which is what brought me to this forum.

So... here I am!

---X

Hi Xovyn and a warm welcome from me too.

I'm sure you will enjoy it here and I hope to hear about all the birds you see when out and about.
