Hi!

We either have a young Bald Eagle or a Golden Eagle cruising around today. Not able to get a real ID but suspect it is a young Bald Eagle.

NO birds in the garden today! All are wary of the overhead preditor. Not even a peep from a sparrow!

Will try to get a picture and real ID.

Even the gulls are missing today!

Bald Eagle and Golden Eagle are very similar in size. The most obvious feature (to me) in distant flying birds is the Bald Eagle seems much bigger headed.
 
Are'nt you the lucky one I shall have to travel several hundred miles at the end of May, to see hopefully a Golden and White tailed eagles.
